15" MacBook Pro shipping time drops to 4-5 weeks

    I gotta say that while I would have liked the ability to upgrade from 16GB to 32GB for an extra $200 or so, I am currently using an 8GB rMBP from 2012 and I never felt any problems, at least for my usage (which included some video editing). I am sure 16GB is going to be alright.

    The front cover said 2017 it will be bumped to 32 ;)

    That's not an official quote -- it's just some ANALyst guessing...

    Equally an analyst who is generally "right on the money" ;) Buy 1st Gen MBP`s at your own risk, the 2nd Gen is always miles better...

    Not always true, my 1st gen retina MBP served me for almost 4 years with me not feeling the need to upgrade :p
