15" MBP Base VS High End

Hey there,

I've finally narrowed down my decision to the 15" MBP!

I'm trying to decide whether to go with the Base model or the High end,
I will be getting the Hi-res screen option no matter what.

Here's my breakdown..... Base model with Hi-Res and 500GB HDD upgraded to 7200RPM.
W/Edu Discount Total:
$1929.00 CAD

The High end Model w/ Hi- Res comes with a slightly better processor, free 500GB 7200RPM drive upgrade.
W/ Edu Discount Total:
$2139.00 CAD

I will be doing a lot of Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, CSS and basic word processing etc. Possibly Gaming but not a deal breaker.

The high end one also includes a significantly better GPU.

A $210 difference, the higher end model is worth every penny. You get a faster CPU and GPU, both of which you cannot upgrade yourself!
