    Hey all,

I've finally decided that I am going to go with the 15" MBP rather than the 13", but now I have no idea which configuration to go with. I will be running Logic on this laptop, but I'm not quite sure exactly how much power that is going to require to run smoothly. Additionally, I'd prefer to spend an extra couple hundred dollars on a better laptop now if that means it will last me, as I plan to use this computer for the next four years or so.

The two configurations I've been considering are:

    15", 2.66 gHz, & 320GB @ 7200

    15", 2.8 gHz, & 320GB @ 7200

As you may be able to tell, my main question is whether it is worth the extra money (I worked it out to be around $100 or so) to get the faster processor with the better graphics?

If there are any other configurations you think would work well please let me know...I'm new to the Mac game so any and all help is appreciated.

    Thanks.

I think you should go for the best one you can afford, so the 2.8 in this case. It will make slightly more future proof.
