15" MBP - have anyone upgraded the superdrive?

I'm planning on buying one soon, but the thought of not being to upgrade to a faster dl superdrive really really bothers me.

Someone mentioned that you could do it, but didn't follow up with any proof.

Is this something that's impossible or what?

Yeah, because the trackpad and keyboard is in the way on the 15", it's not possible to gte 8x DL in there, until Apple makes a superdrive thin enough. The reason the 15" PB couldm was that it was a bit thicker.😱
