15" MBP or 13" MBA?

I'm ready to buy and I come back to the forums to see the MBA was just released. I'm currently using a 16" Sony Vaio I7 1.73 Ghz Quad core but definitely want to try a Macbook ??? already for some time now. I've been looking at the 15" MBP 2.2 Ghz and am sort of confused with the resolution. Is it worth upgrading to the high res screen? Will Lion come on this? I'm not sure about compatibility with the MBP but I assume its been tested?

Hope you guys can help me decide with your experiences. MBAs are cute and light and all, but I think I better stick to a bigger workhorse if in fact the 2011 MBPs are that, or are the new MBAs worth looking at as well. Btw, I plan on doing some light photo/video editing and gaming as well.

You can answer all your questions by simply reading a recent article about Lion or MBA/MBP's on any Mac oriented website.

Sweet.

2. Confused with resolution?
Regular res on 15" MBP is 1440x900. High res model is 1680x1020

3. Is it worth upgrading to high res?
To me yes, for you? Go to your nearest Apple store and try for yourself 🙂

4. Lion on the MBP from Apple?
Not yet. But you can download.

5. Compatible?
Yes.

6. Tested?
Yes.
