15" MBP performance and battery time with High Sierra?

Wasn't sure if I should post here or under SW section.

I have a 15" MBP 2017 base model.
Basically looking to upgrade to 13.1 but not sure of impacts on battery time and general performance, better or worse?

If worse I will wait for further updates. Have not really found a good review from a MBP perspective.
