Hello,

Was it possible to buy a 15" Mid-2012 Non-Retina Macbook Pro without the dedicated graphics or was that not an option in 2012? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find the answer.

Thanks for your help.

This site never failed me and never gave me false information when I looked for Mac info. And it looks like 2012 5 inch cMBP had only one option for graphics Intel HD4000 + Nvidia GT650M.

All of the 2012 15" Non-retina MBPs came with Nvidia graphics.

Thank you for the quick replies. My guess is if someone is selling one without it, then they must have done some sort of bypass because of the failing dGPU issues.

Or they don't know it has the Nvidia GPU. In some cases, when you look at the about this Mac windows, it'll just show the Intel GPU. The non-retina 2012 15" was not part of the GPU recall that covered the retina model; I don't think GPU failures were widespread on that model.
