Are the screens really that bad?

Are the screens really that bad?

When did you order? What was original ship date? Was it BTO or default config?

I ordered my default 15" Tuesday night late, it shipped Wednesday morning, and will arrive tomorrow, and that's with the free ground shipping.

hmmm I ordered 15"PB on the 1st of Nov. and it's not due till the 16th. Is that longer that usuall? Hopefully it's cause they're sorting out those screens.

It was late Tuesday night as well with a stock config. I called Wednesday to change address and decided not to. Apple rep said everything was Ok and was shipping on time. Then to my surprise I woke up this morning to this lovely email.
If order doesn't ship by tonight I'll prob. cancel and pick one up at a local store.

I got mine pretty quick. A total of 5 days from ordering to receiving it and that's including the weekend. Mine was a BTO 15" and I don't have any screen problems with it thankfully.
