I thought I’d start a thread on night pics especially night and night sky photos.
Even though it was a Quarter Moon, it picked up quite a bit of stars. Edited.

Do you have still have a 14 Pro Max to compare it to? I do and will try it out, but our weather in the NE US has been pretty crummy over the weekend.

Yea I still have my 14 PM. I can try tonight and compare the two.

Bumping this - I'm super curious about how well it takes photos of the Moon, Bonfires, etc.

Don’t forget to try this! I will as soon as the weather here in the northeast finally clears out, hopefully tomorrow.
I haven’t forgotten! It was too cloudy out last night. If it’s better when I wake up, I’m gonna go for Orion and Pleiades.

Can you try some photos of the dark sky as well, mine does not focus on the stars like the old phones used to do.

are you guys using a tripod for these gorgeous photos?
if I try to shoot something at night, I only have 3seconds exposure and the results are terrible.

What do you think?

@gwhizkids finally I was able to snap a couple. 14PM & 15PM. 30 secs exposure. Edited in Photo with high Contrast and low Brightness. Hopefully I'll be able to get a couple more once the moon starts waning. It's too bright right now.

I am having a lot of trouble focusing on the moon tonight for a good picture. It really isn’t focusing. Do you all recommend anything??
