15” Touch Bar Trackpad

Does anyone else have any issues with getting the trackpad to register a click at random places on the trackpad? Mine seems to be more to the right hand side.. at the bottom right hand corner and on the left hand side from bottom to top.

2018 15” Touch Bar, seems to be something that doesn’t happen alright the time, and seem to get different results every time, the middle is fine and I don’t suppose I will ever click right on the edges or in the bottom right hand corner but just found it odd.

Can’t even upload a video to show what I’m experiencing.. just can work out if it’s normal behaviour, I know the trackpad isn’t a physical click anymore and wasn’t sure if it was software related or the haptic engine messing around.

I have the 15" 2018 base model and the trackpad is equally responsive on right and left sides or top and bottom.

Mine seems to be in the bottom right hand corner but is intermittent.

When I keep my finger on trackpad it registers clicks everywhere. When testing this with lifting the finger up each time, it can't register clicks on very edges on all left and right side. Bottom right seems to have the most issues where it doesn't register clicks even a bit further from edge.

This is more a less exactly the same as mine! Just wanted to see if this was normal behaviour.

This is on purpose, it's the palm rejection feature because of how massive the trackpad is.
