My iPhone 5's power button has almost completely gone dead. It does not work unless you press it really hard in a certain spot.

I bought it from the Apple Online store back in September. I'm in Australia.

Just have two questions:

1) Can I print out my invoice (which has been emailed) and bring the phone to an Apple store for repair because it is under warranty?

2) How long will the repair take? Or will I get a new phone?

Thank you.

Yes.
Not "if", you will get a new iPhone.
All the iPhones with broken buttons (including mine) have been replaced all over the world at Apple Stores and Carriers.

That's annoying, I'll have to come in with a factory reset phone then.

When I get my replacement phone and sync with iTunes, will everything carry over and be as it was on my previous phone?

Do a back up with iTunes or iCloud on your current iPhone and when you will recieve the new iPhone you will se an option for Restoring a back up in the set up menu when you boot the phone for the first time.

You probably wont even need the receipt but if you do you can just pull the email up on your phone.

Great, thank you. I was hoping I could get a white iPhone as the replacement instead of the black like my current one. Is that possible?
