15in screen vs 17in screen

It is just me, or is the brightness more even and the viewing angles much improved on the 17in model vs the 15in model?

I think it's just you. To the best of my knowledge, they use the same TN panel.

Only real difference is the DPI of each screen. The 17" is a little sharper at 133 DPI compared to 110 DPI on the 15.4" screen.
