I have been reading reports that the bigger the SSD the faster is the speed.

I don't have many big files to store locally. Most of my disc space are usually occupied by the game I installed.

Is 1Tb really faster than the 512Gb?

Anyone mind to share your experience? Thanks.

It's significantly faster, but that's not a reason to choose it unless you need that increased speed. Almost no one does.
 
No, but here are test results using the Black Magic Speed Test on my 1 Tb:

write 5864 read 5188

I'm sure you can find 512 results if you search.
