For some reason I believe there will be a bigger bump/change next iteration for the HW.

Although I am fine with my MBP 2018 15 and cannot afford to change it yet, I think some of the changes will be welcomed by many.
However it just doesn't justify to replace it yet for machines from 2017 onwards.

In my opinion, next HW update for the MBP will have: FaceID, true 4K, wifi 6, dolby atmos and I expect some design changes.

Instead of watching any of these paid reviewers, I'm definitely going to try the keyboard in an Apple Store before even thinking of buying one - I still can't believe Apple managed to ruin decades of awesome notebook keyboards in just a few years with this stupid butterfly thing.

I would also like a few more ports, but I guess that's too much to ask Apple for a single release.

I'm sorry while iJustine's youtube could be entertaining, she's such a fangirl, anything that apple spits out, she downright worships it. I wouldn't consider her review unbiased.

Steve Jobs had to put a restraining order on her because she was stalking him in a creepy sort of way.

Seriously, why link to iJustine? She is all about being cute and smiley. She could hate the new Macbook, but she is only going to say stuff like "OMG, this is sooo cool!" and show it off with cool camera angles and editing.

I don't like her at all. Seems like a poseur fangirl to me.

It’s possible that the 13” MBP will remain a 13” display, with the overall dimensions shrinking, instead of growing somewhat to accommodate a 14” display. But it could very well get the MBP 15—>16” treatment and become 14”.

Regardless of what happens with the 13” MacBook Pro, I expect the MacBook Air will remain 13”.

Good point! Either way, it’s a win in my book! As much as I hate the keyboard on my 13” MBP, I love pretty much everything else (well, except the price, but we can’t have it all can we?). Looking forward to the next iteration!

I don't mean to troll, but does really any professional use MacBooks as his main machine? What do you do with it?

mine will reach metal melting temperature for just rendering video from one format to the other, I don't know how it will do working 3D graphics models or composing a complex video FX.

Yeah but she got the cool 16" Macbook Pro we don't.

iJustine? I don’t believe any word she says in all of her videos.

Of all of the previews of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro that I saw on YouTube, and I watched a lot (but not all), the best by far was iJustine's. She had had the new MacBook for 24 hours and after the obligatory box-opening immediately put the machine to good use, exploring many of its capabilities, even taking it on a flight. Viewing her video was like watching a mini-movie with great production values. She, or whoever was responsible for it, could be a great director some day.

My second-favorite YouTube video about the new 16-inch MacBook Pro was the interview of Phil Schiller by Jonathan Morrison, which seemed like a mini version of that meeting a few years ago where Phil Schiller, Craig Federighi and John Ternus spoke with several journalists about the future of pro Mac machines. Too bad that discussion wasn't videotaped, but you can still read the transcript. I'm sure that this new MBP is one of the computers they were working on back then.

iJustine's day one video of the 16-inch MBP probably won't seem as good on second viewing, but the capabilities she showed sure whet my appetite for a brand new 16-inch MacBook Pro. Thanks for that. And as Phil pointed out, the pricing is unbelievably low for what you get, much less than everyone expected.

I had really hoped they would have moved the headphone jack back to the left side of the computer - ya know - so it's on the same side as the wire from the headphones? (How did they mess that up?) But still great that we actually get a headphone jack, and while it's a pain, I can wrap the headphone cable around the back of the laptop.

I've never seen anything by Jonathan Morrison before, I just ran across this interview when I searched for reviews of the 16-inch MBP, so I can't comment. But in this video he showed that the new 3-mic array was easily capable of recording his voice from a distance during the entire interview. I've been surprised for a number of years now that all my MacBooks' built-in microphones have been excellent for dictation and for learning languages. This new 16-inch MacBook Pro should be even better, and with a better keyboard to boot!

Any ideas why iteration after iteration they can't put a m*****f*****g decent camera in their most expensive macbook pro product? Why do I have to get my phone if/when I want to have a conference call? It's so stupid and infuriating. If you do a conference call on the mac, people actually will say "hey what's wrong with your video?" And all you can say is "I'm on a very expensive macbook pro. What do you expect?"

I love how iJustine velcros on an external hard drive to solve real world user issues of no internal expansion ability. Cudo's to her.

Well, I feel bad for her. After her parents named her iJustine there wasn’t much else she could do with her life.

I'll take Lisa Gade any day. Non bias, fair reviews of Apple and the competition.

Ugh, did not know Justine stalked Jobs. WTH?

On topic, the 16" keyboard and display are wonderful. I was one of those folks who found the Butterfly keyboard very uncomfortable, very happy there is another option now.
