16-inch MBP shipping delayed :(

I've waited 2 years to get a MBP with a decent keyboard, so I guess I can wait another week ?

Kinda wish I'd done that now. I've ordered tons of stuff from Apple's online store over the years and this is the first time this has happened.

I wonder what's happening over at Chinese customs? ?

I have seen it happen all of the time with Apple products to the U.S., typically ends up being a day or less difference.

Apparently only base models aside from a higher end variation are available right away if they aren’t sold out.

ITs not new, it happens often enough. I had to wait over 2 weeks on one of my MBP purchases back in the day.

Has this ever happened to anyone that paid extra for expedited shipping? My tracking says the same thing and since there’s a delay, I wonder now if it was even worth it to pay extra for it??

I quit getting expedited shipping a couple years ago when a rep told me mine was set aside for special handling, but the main bunch went out early. She recommended I NOT get expedited in the future. Since then I have had great luck getting my orders bumped up earlier.

Little to no affect. It lasts no more than 12 hours (usually less than 6) and is part of the shipping etimate time.

At this point I forget. It was frustrating but in the scheme of things it really want that bad
