I just got my 16 inch and there's one little thing I'm noticing: When I skip forward or backward in a video, or when I adjust the volume with the volume adjust feedback sound enabled, the speakers make a popping sound. It doesn't really bother me if it's just a software problem or if all models do this, but if something's faulty then that's obviously a problem.
Does anyone else have this? Is it likely to be a software thing, or a hardware thing? It happens on both left and right speakers.
To test it, play a YouTube video with some smooth music and press the "L" or "J" keys to skip into the video several times. Let me know if you hear the pop. Or expand the control strip and turn the volum up and down several times to hear the volume adjust sound. You may still hear this popping sound.
Here's a video of the issue, you can hear the popping sound when I skip back or forward in the YouTube video that's playing. Be sure to unmute the video.
Edit: Strangely, the issue immediately stops happening if DaVinci Resolve is running, even in the background. I'm guessing this probably means it's a software thing... though I'd still like to know more. Maybe related to Integrated/Discreet GPU or something related to the way sound hardware is activated.
