It's exactly the same as the 15" MBP, in fact, the identical card as what I have in my 2018 15". I ran an iperf3 benchmark on both machines and the results are identical.
And given that the 15" MBP performs at least same (usually better) than any of the WiFi-6 laptops currently on the market, I don't see any reason to complain about it "only" being WiFi-5.
