Whenever possible keep the unit plugged in - this makes it NOT drain the battery (once it reaches 100%, Power Source is Power Adapter) and hence it has less charge cycles and hence it lasts longer.

True or false?

Don't leave it plugged into power all the time.

At least once or twice a week, DISCONNECT the power adapter and run the battery down to about 40%.
Then recharge it and go back to the adapter.

Apple no longer advises this battery "exercise" routine. Years back there was something on there about using the battery occasionally, but they removed that. They did add some information about battery cycles that was not there before, so maybe they decided that the "exercise" just needlessly added battery cycles.

OP> Here is some battery info straight from Apple. I leave mine plugged in 24/7 for weeks on end and never have had any battery issues.
