To give you an idea, you can store 40 minutes of 1080p HD video on a 4GB SD card. So in theory you could store 160 minutes (2 hours, 40 minutes) of 1080p HD on 16GB of space. Since it's 720p-only I am guessing you could store 4 hours of HD video on 16GB of space. 8 hours of video on 32GB

Cool. Thanks.

Well, I was going to get a 16gb, but you guys are kinda talking me out of it. I have a 16gb 3gs now, and I still have 10 gb left, but one of the main reasons I wanted the new phone was to take video and edit some of the racing that I do. I haven't really taken a lot of video with my 3gs since i haven't been racing a Whole lot, and when we did, we took dedicated cameras since the 3gs camera was just ok, but I didn't want to have to do that any more. Hmmm. I have a 16 gb reserved, but maybe I'll try to walk in and get one from bb or walmart, and if I can't get a 32 gb there, I'll just live with my 16.

Somewhat unrelated, but I think resale value is always better on the higher capacity iPhones too.

My biggest reason for going w/the 32gb is because I plan to replace both my point and shoot as well as my Flip with the new iPhone.

Get a Dropbox app/account. Upload the pictures/video to your computer from there and delete them off the phone. Ta-da!

Not recommended for video over 3G.

I'll be getting the 16gb - I plan to record HD video but I'm never far from my Macbook, plus I barely use the 8GB on my 3G.
