iPhone 16 Pro Max 16 Pro Max Camera Control Crashes Phone

Have a 16 pro max, occasionally (often at the worst times) when I use camera control to quickly open the camera and take a pic, it crashes the camera app and then the phone. The photo doesn’t get captured and the phone freezes then resets for about 30secs. Usually have to restart the entire phone just to get it working normally again. Running iOS 18.0.
