iPhone 16 Pro Max 16 Pro Max notifications volume

I am finding that my Notifications sounds, imessages and others, have a much lower volume. I have the slide in Sounds and Haptics at maximum. Is there anything else to do?

And I have had every iPhone made since the original back around 2006-2007.

Has anyone else had this issue? How to fix?

Same here on my 16 Pro. I’m getting a bit frustrated with all the settings tweaking I’ve had to research to bring back my phone to suit my needs. Either I’ve shot myself in the foot and turned some of these unwanted adjustments vs. my 13 Pro Max, or these settings are just “on” in iOS 18 vs. the “standard” settings of the earlier iOS.

I could be wrong I guess but I’ve never had a more bumpier ride since going to iOS 18 running on my new 16 Pro iPhone.
