I’m on a contract in the UK with carrier O2 where I can hand back my device after 90 days and upgrade, by handing back my old device. I pay a bit extra a month for it but means I’m an annual upgrader.

Honestly, I don’t see a massive amount I’m excited about this year. Looking forward to having a phone that matches my orange PowerBeats Pros…

What was ur storage size? 512?

Hard to imagine anyone paying $1000 for used iPhone 16 pro max unless the storage space is higher than the base 256gb
Yep 1TB. Cost me $1600 plus tax. I have 2 offers for $1050. Hopefully those people are still around Friday. I hate wasting this much on an upgrade. Happily kept my 13PM for 3 years. But the battery life and heating and short lived peak brightness are irritating daily problems. The 16 has been my worst iPhone experience yet. And I was planning to hold off on all 26 OS crap until .1 updates but now I’m forced with the 17.

Compare the specs and they are almost the same phone. Money isn’t worth a camera, it still on records at 4K. Selfies I don’t care about and the current processor is fine because iOS is smooth.

I would like anti reflective but I’ll wait for the 18 pro max or whatever it’s called. Also, never ever buy a first gen redesign model of anything ever.

If I was younger, I would be getting the 17 Pro Max. I am not a pro, I am now a casual user. I probably can get the 16e and be fine with that, but I still want that great Apple experience. I can afford it, so I am getting the Air.

I'm getting the 17 pro max, I will give my husband the iphone 16 pro max which will be an upgrade for him from the 13 and I get a new phone :)

The battery life on my 16PM is garbage and it gets very hot and it doesn’t stay bright for long enough in direct sun. I can be 60% battery by 10am. No gaming or video. Just calls and productivity stuff. I have to plug it in multiple times a day. $700 trade in is a joke. I listed it for $1200 and I have 5 offers for $1000.

My 16PM is still at 100% battery Max Capacity and easily lasts more than a day. I've had it set to max charge of 80% since I got it, which is one reason I assume it has maintained good health. 195 cycles.

Well originally I just wanted a bit more battery and performance with less heat. So far it looks like the battery life is basically no improvement so I may not keep it.

My 16 pro max is still at 99% after a year.

This is my sole reason for upgrading. It's ridiculous that you can't use a $1500 phone in the sun for more than a few seconds before the display dims to an unusable point. I'm disappointed that none of the reviews I've seen addresses this issue and how the 17 Pro and Pro Max perform outdoors.

I bought one because I wanted the best battery life but upon it had a rubbish screen it had slight pink hue on right hand side and I also became concerned about durability and there isn’t really much that for £1200 when my 16 pro max is still hanging strong. Returned and sticking to this for another year or 2
