Hey guys, so one of the things I got pretty excited about with buying a pro max was playing higher end mobile games without my phone overheating. I’m coming from an IPhone 12 Pro, which was always thermal throttling since the day I got it.

So I decided to get into playing on my 16 PM tonight and after an extended 3 hour session (man time can fly sometimes 😳) I found that my phone had severely warped on the lower side. It seemed almost torqued and the phone was bent words the screen side, when laying it flat on a table, screen down it had a dramatic tilt.
I was pretty panicked about this at first, thinking maybe I was too rough disconnecting it from the mobile controller I have, but after about a half hour it slowly returned back to normal.

I'm worried now that maybe the battery had expanded under the heavy load from gaming. has anyone else had this happen, or is this something that’s happened with older iPhones?

Well as I said it went back to normal, wouldn’t be much of a point at the moment. If I notice it again I will, but I’m not sure I’ll put that time in too soon. If it helps, a majority of the time was spent in COD mobile, with maxed out graphics settings. I’m sure others will end up experiencing this eventually.
