rMBP reliable Fan Control App

Hello guys,
I am not a fan of apple's automatic fan control, especially during rendering it speeds up the fans way too late. Then I can already cook something on my iMac for example.
Can you recommend any good fan control app for my rMBP? I am not so sure, which one I should choose because I read that some remove the automatic settings and you have to reset your smc.

Use FanControl for Mac. It can increase fan speed automatically as the temperature increases (fan curve).

I have attached the Application and files you need to change (instructions in ReadMe) which I found on another thread.

I tried this and I don't really like it. I now see a FanControl thing in my Preferences pane. Is there a way to remove/uninstall this program?

Right Click it in System Preferences -> Remove
