Apparently its being released...but I cant do nothing about it with a phone that might be water damaged. I want to cry lol
The rumour was based on an email sent by nuance, which has widely been accepted as an error and they meant GM. They won't release to public without a GM period first. Additionally devs haven't been allowed to submit apps to review using the new SDK yet, so no app updates will be ready to roll out yet. People need to realise these facts before asking certain questions.....

Nope, but GM is pretty much the same as the public release, so if you can get your hands on it, go nuts.

The GM comes after the whole event, usually within an hour or so. Which would mean more like 2000GMT (not sure that's the correct format for GMT, but either way, 2 hours or so after 1800GMT)
And last time, the servers were down for a few hours. So ~2400GMT sounds more accurate.
