that's quite an impressive upgrade. That's almost 1tb/s in speed
yes I got over 1000 MB/s fresh out of the box before I set up the computer. Now after loading 465GB of data and apps from my Time Machine backup, speeds are around 960MB/s
2.6GHz 16GB RAM 1TB SSD base model
That's impressive!
Anyone ran a test of the 1TB on the 13"? seems like these uber speeds might be limited to the 15" now due to 4 vs 2 lane PCIe:

That would not be cool if a 1TB in the 13-inch is lacking. Thanks for sharing.
I guess I'll find out soon enough, my 13" 1TB gets here Wednesday.
Worst case is that the data speeds are the same as the 512 but I get twice the storage which is really my main reason for moving to it. That's kind of the problem with these releases, lots of review attention is placed on the 15" so it will take a bit more time for all the models and configurations to get a fair shake.
Yep, impressive, made me upgrade to the 1TB version 13" 2.8/16GB....now will the 13" see those speeds or not????

Here's mine (13" / 16 / 1TB). It did "slow down" a bit after loading it with files... even went over 1000MB/s initially!
