People are already lined up for the new iPad Air. Dont they know you can do instore pick-up? WTF?!

They have their sleeping bags, pillows out and the whole nine...im gonna do instore pick up if it is a viable option. I took the rest of the week off but I wasnt planning on camping out all night.

Not overly surprised if it is in New York. People just want to camp out. Even if there isn't a need.

Lol please. Don't even think of saying you're worried about telling people what city you're in. No one but no one cares.

Ohh ohhh I thought it was obvious I am in NYC. People don't need a good reason to camp out in the weather for 3 months straight trying to buy up all of the Apple products only to come back later and have to dump them all back on Apple. In the mean time people are spending money on Android and MSFT products because they can get ahold of them.

And how exactly was it obvious you live in NYC?

Your user name ends in SMU and we were to assume you were from NYC?

I guess, but it was past tense and the OP mentioned a new job (which could mean a different location)
The point is the people have been camped out in front of the Apple Store year around. I'm like damn actual end customers would like to get Apple products in the Apple store too and without having to live in front of the Apple store for a week to get one.

I guess some people enjoy camping out and all the hype and buzz that surrounds it. Me, I prefer my warm bed. I can wait a few days if need be.

Or, more importantly, don't they have a life? A job? Anything else meaningful in their lives except for electronic toys? That's the sad thing here. Otherwise, it's hilarious. Samsung is correct with their TV ads making fun of theses people. :D. Lines at apple stores give you the opportunity to see a huge collection of knit caps and backpacks all in one convenient place.
