Hmm, wow. They also have a 180GB SSD for $189 and 2x4GB Corsair for $25 (mail in rebate though). And it's actually brand RAM!

Now I'm not sure if I should grab the 2x4GB now, or wait for a 16 GB kit for $100 maybe sometime next year...

These are the same chips I got last Friday for the special deal that NewEgg had for $189.... except the NewEgg version I got had 2 of these same chips in 1 package. Anyhow, I have been using these 2 chips (16GB) in my 2011 15" MBP all week with not a single problem, with 29 hours of video editing on various projects during that time and have had nothing but a happy MBP. I have yet to see any proof that these Corsair chips at $189 are any better or worse than the OWC ones at $430 performance wise. The only "real" difference is that the Corsair ones have a green circuit board and the OWC have a blue circuit board. For some reason I did not think that the blue color was worth an extra $240.
