16gb memory

    Yes, your mini supports up to 16GB of RAM.

    For what it's worth,

    Thats the exact memory and amount I have in my Mini, and it works perfectly.

    I picked this up on special for $130…

    I've tried it in two different 2011 Mac mini Servers and both failed to boot with both sticks installed.

    Putting one stick in each Mac mini worked fine…

    Could just be that my hardware is just getting old.

    Yeah you take a chance with these RAM sticks, most of the time you get lucky.

    Failed twice. Crucial worked fine but more expensive.

    I have 16 GB of RAM in my Mini... Works just fine.

    Where the Corsair memory failed, 1333DDR3S16P memory from Other World Computing had the 2011 Mac mini up and running immediately..

    May cost more, but OWC always works.
