16GB sticks for MP 5,1 12 core?

One of my co-workers pointed me towards these sticks. Would they work? And do they require the heatsink/heatspreader that MP ram usually has?

OWC sells also 16GB sticks. That means their RAM works. I would say this one should also work - except for the brand, I don't see any difference between OWC RAM and the Samsung RAM.

Do you need this RAM? I have 16GB in total and I never managed to use all of them.

Great price!!! very tempting I would go for 6 = 96GB for $900 (96GB being the max OSX can address not sure about Mountain Lion?)

heatspreaders are not required for MacPro 5,1

If you need the RAM go for it
