well....hell. beats me. good job. don't know how i would be able to get 6GB available on a 16GB device now that i've owned the 64GB.

I don't specifically look to keep space, I just use my phone normally. If I could afford to I'd probably get 64gb and put all my music on but I actually quite like having the iPod solely for music.

Maybe it's because I have the iPod with all the music on and my iPad with all my films and streaming apps on the phone is literally just a communications device. I only have a handful of games as I'm not really into games. Nor do I take a load of pictures.

I always went with the base model storage up until the iPhone 6. I had an 8 GB iPod Touch 4 and a 16 GB Mini 2. I thought that 16 would be plenty, since it was double the space of 8 GB. Nope. I ran out of storage on my 16 GB Mini 2 after only about a month, and I was really wishing I went with a 32.

Fast forward to 2014 and I decided that I was going to upgrade to the middle storage option on the iPhone 6. Ever since then, I have upgraded to the middle storage option. iPad Air 2 is a 64 GB model, MacBook Pro 2015 is the mid-tier model with 256 GB of SSD, and my 2014 Moto X is a 32 GB. I have never regretted upgrading to the middle storage model since I started, and I'll continue doing so.

I was going to go for the 64gb option, but with the rumours of the upgraded camera sensor and 4k video support I think I might jump straight to 128gb. The price difference isn't too bad - guess I'll see how September pay goes!

the 4K recording is what has made me rethink things and i will now be buying the 128GB version to go with my ipad air 2 128GB

My only iPhone has been my almost-four-year-old 4S, but I paid the ridiculous extra $100 to get the 32GB model in 2011, figuring that 16GB simply would not be enough. For me, I have to work to get 32GB to work. I simply wouldn't consider 16GB or even 32GB now. I plan to go with the 64GB 6S.
