I came from a iPhone 15PM, I upgrade every year ... ¡UP got me at the very beginning lol ... and decided to go with the iPhone 16PM this year. I followed all the forums, watched all the YouTube reviews and heard all the podcast about how minimal this upgrade was/is.

Don't get me wrong, l agree, sorta. But the subtle changes to the iPhone 15PM(S) | mean 16PM... make the phone more enjoyable. The bezels being just a couple mm shorter and the cameras a lot more impressive was the upgrade I didn't think I needed, but appreciate. The additional RAM combined with the new chip feels snappy and more responsive. The thermal cooling is much better.

And the battery! They didn't have to say much about the battery, this IS the best in an iPhone lol.

I am on the other side of the fence with somethings ie. the camera button is really silly to me. I really don't think we asked for another button on our phone. But here we are I guess. I can see how it might be useful down the road with Al "Apple Intelligence" coming out in a 18.1 (i mean) 18.2 or .3 update.

If you don't need a phone, don't grab it. Not worth the update if you have a 13Pro or above unless you want a new camera. I would dare to say that the real upgrade this year was for the iPhone 16 (non pro) model. Getting the similar updates as the pro model and have nice eye catching colors.

Do with this as you will. I'm just another bot in this simulation called life giving my opinions to you about a damn good looking iPhone design that has been ¿purposely? the same since 2018.

What additional RAM? The 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max both have 8GB.

15PM has the same 8gb of ram as the 16PM. As far as the thermal changes, a forum member posted his 16PM running at 111.2 degrees playing AAA games, still getting hot. Your comment about "a couple of mm thinner" bezels is also incorrect, they are 1.15mm for the 16PM and 1.5mm for the 15PM which is 0.35mm difference. There are other differences more noticeable than the ones you highlighted between the 16PM and the 15PM

Hmmm. I have the 15PM and I just ordered the 16PM. I mostly wanted to upgrade because of the wide camera [which is what I use the most] and semi better battery. I want the best battery for my TikTok content! I do use CapCut and wonder if it would render videos a little faster. I'm having second thoughts. If I could sell my phone for $850 then I think I'll go ahead. If not, I might just cancel my order with Apple.
