mine is calibrated with an eye one but I do not know where to find the product code.

Displays > Color > Open Profile...

Scroll down to find the "Apple display make and model" entry. Highlight it and the model number should appear.

Yeah, definitely bluey on mine too. Really noticeable against my cinema display when they're together 🙁

What is the best display to get then? Hoping I don't end up with another 9CAD..

There isn't anything wrong with the display. In fact, the 9CAD on this 17" is just straight THE best display I've ever used on a notebook. It just needs calibrating properly to get it 100% perfect.

Yeah.. but I'm no good at calibrating and it appears there's no one with a good Color Profile.

Did you calibrate?
