Now ive not had time to do enough digging, but.. does everyone think apple has covered itself in regards to what the actual finite battery life is of this new battery?

I see a lot of "up to's" which does cover them I guess - like over here we get 'up to 8meg braodband' when the average 3meg - but what if they start coming in considerably short of thier proposed battery life?

There will be a lot of egg on their faces if there are any major issues. There has been various battery issues before after all, and I doubt that have even had long enough to really test how effective they will be under 'normal day to day conditions'

They are the first to really push it inside a larger, some what mare power demanding machine so all eyes will be on it's success. Both from a consumer point of view and other manufacturers.

I dun expect it to last for 8 hours. Especially the 15 I got. I can only manage to get about2.5 hours from it. But 8/2 is still 4 hours. I will be happy enough.
