17" Hi-Res owners - Dead pixels?

Have you found any dead pixels? Mine has 0! Amazing!

If you feel like you didn't receive adequate dead pixels with your new Mac, then use something like a kitchen knife or fork to gouge your screen. Half a minute of this and you'll have plenty of dead pixels. 🙂

Afaik dead pixels isn't that much of an issue longer at all.

is there an effective way of checking for this? is there an app or utility that will aid looking for them?

look for them when the computer is booting up at the grey screen with the apple logo. if you don't see any during that time, consider yourself fortunate because you probably won't ever see any once you get to the desktop either.
