Hi everyone, its taken a couple of days to run my 6S Plus through a couple charge cycles. Also I'm feeling less inclined to take out my pocket every 5 mins because it's new. That being said, have used it more than necessary. Screen brightness set at about 60% Auto.

What do you think?

Fyi haven't been trying to get a decent battery life, just turned off things I don't use. Like background app refresh.

Too many factors go into battery usage and drainage.

The biggest factors are games and safari mobile and video browsing. You aren't using the real battery drainers.

you turned off background app refresh. Welcome to Nokia 3310. Thanks!

What did you turn off beside background refresh? I wish i got those life

3 games on the go with notifications, web browsing and short Facebook videos. Not saying it's a game boy but it's pretty heavy usage compared to just phone seeing as it's still a new toy for me.

No bluetooth
Switched off a couple of location services
No push email.

Find my iphone and hey Siri are still on.

I don't get what you mean, background app refresh is a waste of battery for how I use my iphone. I can go longer than a second to wait for Facebook to update

You are getting basic battery usage. That's what we are saying.

I can essentially leave my phone on and touch it a few times a day. Do a few texts and get 2 days of use out of it and "use it" for 17 hours and get 35 hours of it total.

Now if I were to surf safari mobile 50% of the time) YouTube 20% of the time. My "use it" time goes down to around 7-8 hours of usage and 10 hours of standby which i also consider normal battery usage.

Just too many factors.

All of these results are meaningless as posted. You're only showing the net result and the bottom of the list of app usage. I'd like to see the entire list of app usage (i.e. what are the apps that are using the highest % of your battery life). Without that, it's impossible to analyze.

You can not be using the phone and get 17 hours of battery life even with the screen down to minimum brightness. If using the phone means surfing the web or video. It looks like to me music in the background counts it as usage, is that the case?

Yup. Music in background counts as usage as well.
