Both have the same processor, but the 20" allows me to address another 1GB of ram and comes with about an additional 50% of HD room, plus of course the bigger screen and a little bit faster FSB.
Is it worth it to save about $250 and get the refurb 17" or just spend the extra moola for future proofing?
I would be using photoshop, after effects, flash, and sometime in the future final cut express or pro.
I would wait to the summer and see if their was an update to the Imac, but ADOBE has special education pricing ending mid March for their s/w and have to decide whether to buy the MAC or Windows version. I would feel silly buying the software now and having to wait 4-5 months to use it.
