Just wondering... could this disc be used to install OSX on another computer? Not that I would, because that's probably illegal, but I'm just wondering if it is a disc made just for a 17" Macbook or not.

It will probably install on any other MacBook Pro but not on, say a Mac Mini. Certainly it will not work on any PPC Macs.
