I had the exact same issue. They are already replacing mine.
I had this happen to me 3 times while only having the computer 3 days. Apple agreed it is a hardware issue. I explained that it only happened on the 9600 graphics card, happened under Windows and OS X and that it was intermittent. Intermittent in that it only happened when the computer had been busy loading software, editing photos, etc.
I called Applecare. I didn't take it to a store. (There are none around where I live.) I also have a photo and offered to email it to them but they didn't need to see it.
They are replacing my computer. Not repairing it. They emailed me a FedEx label and as soon as I dropped the computer off at FedEx Apple put in the order for my new one.
