How much faster do you think the 17" mbp has over the 15" because of the bigger build/logic boards?? Maybe more power and bigger heat sink?

17" mbp vs. 15" mbp how much speed difference??

None that I can see. Both a 15" 2.6GHz and a 17" 2.6GHz benchmarked virtually identically. The 17" in the past has had a slightly faster GPU but I don't really play games on them so I haven't tested that.

as this shows, the only difference is the video card speed, they can clock it slightly higher since there is more cooling because of the bigger case
