Went rolling...

I went with a rolling bag. Expensive, but Tumi had a sale on the end of the year. By the time I pack all my miscellaneous accessories, books, cables, travel router, headphones, a backpack was just too much in addition to my suitcase. Rolling works fine, and I can 'overload' it as necessary (has an expansion capability).

Took out the Tumi sleeve, as I never carry the machine alone, and replaced it with an incase neoprene sleeve.

Currently I'm using the Tom Bihn Cache ($30) as a sleeve without a zipper (get the verticle configuration, size 1 I think).

And that fits comfortably into the laptop section of my North Face Big Shot ($99).

It took me forever to find a good looking sleeve that doesn't have a zipper. This way I can leave the sleeve (har har) in the backpack and just pull out the MBP when I need it. Also I can use the sleeve by itself when I don't want my backpack.
