17" UMBP Anti-Glare, good deal?

Hi,

What do y'all think of a UMBP 17", 2.66GHz, 320GB 5400, 4GB, Matte, for $2300?

Seems a pretty good deal to me. Has the display model changed in the newly updated 17" MBP? If not, then I might for for it.

it s a super deal .....

that is 1600Euros for a model that new in Europe cannot find in under 2000E😡

you get a full HD display AND MATTE, 3 usbs 6Mb casche L2 Sata 3GB/sec AND express card slot.

take it or take it for me!!!!!!!😛

Why would you buy the last generation?

The base config for the new MBP is only 2499. You add $50 bucks to that, and you get the anti-glare option.

So for ~2550, you get a 500gb hdd, a 2.8 ghz processor, and anything else they updated.

The thing is, I'm not in the US at the moment. Gonna have the laptop shipped across the globe, from the US, for free! Which otherwise would cost around $200. No way in hell I would buy one from some where else, gotta love US layout!

How did you do that?

I just got a 15" since matte was not available I went glossy and picked up a anti-glare film that goes over the screen. I haven't put it on yet because the glossy is not really bad with these LED screens considering how bright they are
