Anybody know what brand of 256GB SSD Apple is using in the new 17" unibody MBP? Samsung was releasing a very fast SSD in early this year...could it be this one?

If it is the Samsung, it's going to be some machine:

"The 256 gigabyte Samsung SSD will more than double the likes of Samsung 64GB and 128GB SSDs when it comes to performance rates and with combining sequential read rates of 220MB/s (megabytes per second) with sequential write rates of 200MB/s we can see something really good."

    $900 for the option?

If this is the same option as Dell is offering for $400 - than somebody in Apple's pricing department should be shot.

No matter - I'm sure the Samsung disk will soon be at OWC or Newegg.
