Can't beat a maxed out matte display 17" macbook pro!
iPad is great for email, games and surfing. Not so much for professional application use...at least not yet.

As I am as well. Unfortunately the first gen for the 17" iPP won't include 3D touch. I'm a bit disappointed in that but the inclusion of support for a trackpad (the respective Smart Keyboard will have a trackpad area) more than makes up for it.

I'd like to see the new kickstand design for the 17" Smart Keyboard be carried over to the smaller models, but I doubt that will be possible for some time.

Heck, I can't wait for the 27" iPad Pro devices with the edge less displays and smart connectors allowing two to be magnetically attached together; for increased content consumption. With the included wall mount you will have a nice big TV at home and large screen computer on the go! One for each spouse!

you forgot to mention that the 2TB of storage is a 5400RPM HDD, 128g SSd is an option.

i wouldnt put it past apple to introduce a 17' Ipad pro, before they introduce a 17' macbook pro, or god forbid update their 3 year out of date mac pro
