Socialite Paris Hilton has reportedly been asked to play celebrated humanitarian Mother Teresa in a movie biopic. Indian director T. Rajeevnath has contacted the hotel heiress about taking the lead role in his new film, which will chronicle the late nun's life. He tells MTV.co.uk, "My agents in California have contacted Paris Hilton. Although there are several actresses willing to play the role of Mother Teresa, the most widely respected and loved person, the history of the actress who is finally chosen for the role would have to be analyzed thoroughly before she is chosen."

Is this all just a marketing ploy? just making use of her reputation to generate buzz about the movie. Seriously, I wouldn't watch a movie which it's director thinks that Paris is a good actress.

Well, in all fairness, Mother Teresa wasn't a great actress either.

Mother Teresa did NOT dance suggestively on wet cars hawking burgers. She didn't have a TV show that made fun of poor people, and from what I can hear she didn't release a porn video.
 
Paris who? Sorry... I read MTV in there. haven't watched that channel since last millennium. she a presenter or something? suppose she has something to do with those hotels (hotel heiress sorta gave that away).

think i heard that name on an advert on E4 once...
 
Publicity stunt.

The director (whom I've never heard of) knows as well as you and I do that Paris Hilton would not - and should not - play Mother Theresa.

However, announcing that you've put the offer out there not only connects you to someone well known, but provides a 'shock-factor.'

Had you not heard of this due to its silliness, you'd never know this movie was in the works.
 
Might as well wait for Tonya Harding to lose her girth and offer her the role. Not only does such a choice keep production costs down, but she would probably do a bang-up job.
 
i doubt Paris Hilton has ever even heard of Mother Teresa, seroiusly.

she (Paris) is really one of the dumbest people i've ever seen on TV. even her porno was dumb, talk about mind-numbingly boring. :rolleyes:

for example, i believe i saw a clip of her on that road trip show she did, the simple life? and she had no idea what walmart was (that must be rather nice actually). also, i saw her wearing a t-shirt she created, with her (or her friend - nicole ritchie's) catchphrase "that's hot" on the front, sans apostrophe mind, and on the back "your not". yes, spelt like that, completely wrong, dumb-ass.

she's not even attractive, she has a crap figure, and she is not pretty.

can anyone tell i can't stand her? :p



i can say for sure i'll never watch this movie if they're resorting to pathetic tactics like this.
 
That girl is so ugly. I mean honestly does anyone really think she's pretty? I know they photoshop her image all the time mainly because she has a hooked nose and so forth, but come on people.

When I saw the House of Wax (man!! what a bad movie that was) the entire audience applauded when she copped that pipe through the head and I recall the person behind me saying, ".. well I guess there's no chance of her getting brain damage..."

I heard that on the radio yesterday and laughed.. maybe the guy just wants to meet her in person so he an ogle her. :)

I just did. Wishful thinking, but it would be so great if she paid heed to the petition and melted away. I know its never going to happen but I can dream anyway.:D
 
Besides being a whore, the chances of her playing Mother Theresa is approximately zero. I mean, did Mother Theresa MAKE a video in the convent we are unaware of?
Paris dear, you are worthless as a member of society, of our culture.
