The problem with all the third-party apps at this point is that they do not have access to the HRM of the Watch. For me, that's a huge downside, as I want get as accurate of a calorie burn calculation as possible.

You could use a BT HR chest strap and Nike can read from it.

You can also enter runs manually into the Nike app. So for example, to test the Apple run app, I ran with it (thus getting HR information from the watch) and then entered it manually Into Nike. The issue with this, and significant to me, is when entering manually it just assume a steady pace. I vary my pace on almost every run and I like seeing that on the Nike charts. This way I can see if where my fastest mile was, if I meant a goal of a negative split, that time thing.

Awesome! Well done on this handy app. It's much nicer being able to view all your runs for the week.

Is it possible to view the exact time of your runs? i.e minutes and seconds? At the moment it just seems to round your times up to the nearest minute.

Very promising app.

This might be beyond what you are planning but I would like to see summary of all workout activities types (if there is data for them) and see totals/averages by week and month.

So include Elliptical, Other, etc.

And second, would love to see a heart rate graph for individual workouts.

This is nice. Just downloaded and its nice to see it per week.

Looking forward to updates. Thanks!!!!:)

Nice app.

Couple of minor typos:-

  • I think "bmp" should be "bpm"
  • "Miles/min" should be "mins/mile"

Otherwise it's solid.

Thanks!

I downloaded the app and appreciate your hard work in getting it up and running! Very useful! I love the fact that I can see my average heart rate along with minutes and seconds of my run all on one screen. This is useful to me since Apple does a lousy job of calculating calories burned correctly. I am able to take the information you provide and plug the numbers into a heart rate-based calculator to get a closer approximation of net calories burned.
