19" monitor for $100?

Ok so I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to external monitors but i have been looking for something that wasn't very expensive that i could use with my macbook. i found this viewsonic at dell. If anyone could tell me how this monitor is that would be great. I don't need anything fancy, i will just be using it to do my normal things ( papers, music, email, internet).

all i can say is that i used to own CRT viewsonics and they were very reliable for years. i can't say anything about the company now though...

Well, with 23" or 24" can be bought for slightly over $200, you might want to look into a larger screen.

I saw those too. I guess i want to get the biggest bang for my buck. I would like to stay under $200 and don't really care what the size is, anything would be nice to work on versus my 13.3" screen..lol

I have a Viewsonic I bought years ago when the 20" square (not wide) was $1,100... 😱

Great monitor, and DVI was new back then. Have my Mini hooked up to it. 🙂

Looks like a great deal - Dell and Viewsonic are just giving a deal to move last year's model.

Yeah i don't care if its two years old, i just want a decent screen so i can put my macbook in clamshell mode to save some desk space.

I've got to say, this monitor is a great deal and the quality is very good. I've got one at work and one at home and two other people in my office have gotten one.
