Today's new users have no idea how great they have it.

I am pretty sure you never succeeded in cancelling AOL. It's still active, lurking in the dark, growing its compound rates and late-payment interests, ready to hit with the most insane bill accompanied by AOL's army of lawyers when you least expect it.This brings all kind of bad memories trying (as a soldier at the time) trying to cancel America Online! Bad bad memories!
