1gb gpu for the next mbp?

After seeing the Mac releases today do you think the next mbp would come with a 1gb gpu? cause id be really tempted to sell my current one.

It's just a marketing scheme. Currently there is no difference between the 256MB and 512MB 330M as the GPU itself ain't powerful enough to take advantage of the extra VRAM.

Someone did a benchmark showing this, didn't they? I always wondered who would need 1gb vram...and if they do, maybe a mbp (or a notebook in general) isn't for them.

Yeah, Barefeats did. The VRAM didn't matter before moving to 30" ACD
