Okay, so I am technologically challenged and have no idea what happened. I have tried advice I read on here about shutting it down, then holding the button and plugging into Usb simultaneously until a screen came up about restoring and it didn't work.
I am assuming I have to restore it, but if It isn't showing up in the itunes, how can I do this?
    Thank you!

Try a different usb port and/or cable to see if iTunes sees it then

Can the viao still see it?

I had this happen the other day, and I just disconnected the phone and closed itunes three or four times. Finally it started to synch. I never understood why and it hasn't happened since.:confused::confused:

try a restore on DFU mode, search it up in google, itunes will detect it and then you can restore
